DIY Virtual Art Workshop Series for AAPI Month

POTATO PRINTING | Mizin ShinPotato printing is one of the easiest styles of relief printing. This workshop will share the process using everyday household materials. Artist Mizin Shin will show different ways to apply ink, including watercolor or acrylic paint.

In this one-hour workshop, Steph Rue will demonstrate how to piece together paper scraps to create a version of patchwork bojagi, a type of Korean art that traditionally uses discarded cloth to create practical or decorative textiles.

INSTANT POP-UP BOOK | Andre Lee BassuetLearn how to make an instant pop-up book and illustrate Korean dokkaebi with the artist. Described as playful and mischievous spirits, dokkaebi are playful, shape-shifting creatures found throughout Korean folklore.
