BREATHING ROOM at IdolwildSeptember 28 - October 26, 2024
Opening reception: September 28, 5-9PM PST BREATHING ROOM centers on the exploration of identity-an evolving, introspective odyssey that compels us to engage with historical fragments and the elements that shape our understanding of selfhood. However, it is within the interstitial moments of pause-those spaces of respite between this ceaseless quest-that we encounter the "breathing room" necessary for contemplation. This exhibition, through a carefully curated array of multidisciplinary works, creates an environment for reflective engagement, encouraging viewers to consider their own evolving narratives of identity and belonging. |
